TikTok uses your phone number or email to log you in and to recover your password, so the number on the account matters. A US number in the TripoSIM app gets TikTok’s code over Wi-Fi or mobile data, wherever you live. The TikTok steps below are from TikTok Support.

How does TikTok use your phone number?

You can sign up with a phone number. TikTok says your email and phone number must be valid, because they are needed for log-in and password recovery. The TripoSIM US number receives TikTok’s verification text in the TripoSIM app. TripoSIM tested TikTok on October 3, 2026.

Each phone number, email address and social media account can be linked to only one TikTok account. Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) are not supported sign-up methods.

How do you sign up with your US number?

  1. Download TikTok from the App Store or Google Play and open it.
  2. Choose to sign up with a phone number and pick United States (+1).
  3. Enter your US number and the code from the TripoSIM app.
  4. Follow the remaining steps to create your account.

Can you run more than one TikTok account?

Yes. In the app, tap Profile, tap your nickname, then Add account to create another one or switch between accounts. Because one number fits only one TikTok account, give each account its own login. One person can have as many TripoSIM US numbers as they like, each with its own plan.

What if sign-up or the code fails?

  1. Check the country code (+1) and the 10 digits.
  2. Check the TripoSIM app is online with notifications allowed.
  3. Restart TikTok and keep one login method per account.
  4. Old account? If an old TikTok account already uses the number, log in to it, or sign up the new one with a different number or email.
  5. Still stuck: contact TikTok support. For the number itself, contact TripoSIM support.
