This page lists every change to the product facts and third-party policies we report, newest first. Each entry links to the page that changed. Prices and plan rules come from TripoSIM's published pages; policies come from each service's own help center.
Owner correction: WhatsApp and app codes are supported
TripoSIM confirmed that its US number receives verification codes (OTP SMS) from apps, including WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. Earlier pages warned against using the number for WhatsApp and other app codes. That was wrong for this product and has been corrected on every page. The 22 apps TripoSIM tested are shown as examples, not a limit.
Terms, privacy and operator details rewritten
The terms page now summarises TripoSIM's US-number conditions (version 2026-10-v1), including refunds, cooling-off and number release. The privacy page explains what TripoSIM collects when you buy, how long it keeps it and how to use your rights. The operator is stated as BroadNet Technologies LLC, registered in Dubai with an office in New Jersey, as TripoSIM's privacy policy describes. Both pages remain subject to legal review.
Ringing when the app is closed: now attributed to TripoSIM
We had stated that calls ring when the app is closed. That is TripoSIM's own claim, which we have not tested on our devices, so pages now say so and add TripoSIM's caveat that a phone that is off, offline or has notifications blocked does not ring.
Allowed use
TripoSIM's offer page limits the number to personal and small-business use, with no spam, robocalls or call centres; this is now on the facts page.
TripoSIM's tested-app list is now 22 apps
WhatsApp Business was added with a test date of October 18, 2026. Earlier material referred to 21 apps.
Top-up minutes and call billing clarified
TripoSIM's terms say top-up minutes stay valid while your number is active and carry over on renewal, and each outgoing call is rounded up to the next full minute.
