How do you set up WhatsApp with your US number?

1. Get your number. Choose a plan, complete the short ID check and pick your US number in the TripoSIM app.
2. Keep the TripoSIM app open and online. Allow notifications so you see the code as soon as it arrives.
3. Open WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business. Choose United States (+1) and type the 10-digit number, with no extra 1 or 0.
4. Request the code once. It arrives as a text in the TripoSIM app. Type it into WhatsApp.
5. If it is slow, wait for the timer to finish, then request it again or choose the voice call option. The call rings in the TripoSIM app.
6. Finish your profile and turn on two-step verification.

Can you run two WhatsApp accounts on one phone?

Yes, as long as each account has its own number. You have two ways to do it:

• WhatsApp plus WhatsApp Business. They are separate apps, so you can keep your personal account on your main mobile number and register the business app on a second number.
• Two accounts in one app. WhatsApp announced that you can keep two accounts logged in at the same time and switch between them. Menus differ by phone and app version.

How do you keep your WhatsApp account safe?

1. Request the code once. Wait for the timer before asking again, or choose the voice call option.
2. Turn on two-step verification in Settings, then Account. WhatsApp now uses a password rather than a 6-digit PIN. Add a recovery email too.
3. Back up your chats to iCloud or Google Drive, and check the backup finished.
4. Write down the number in full +1 format and keep it with your plan login.
5. Keep the plan active. If it ends, the number is kept 30 days (yearly) or 90 days (monthly), then released.
6. Open WhatsApp regularly, even a second account you rarely use, so the account stays active.
7. If you are logged out, open WhatsApp, request one code to your US number, and enter your two-step verification password. If the code is slow, wait for the timer, try the voice call, or contact TripoSIM support.
